Healthy Utah Community

Get Healthy Utah is excited to partner with the Utah League of Cities and Towns to support Healthy Utah Community, a new designation program for cities and towns. This designation recognizes communities across Utah that do an exemplary job of implementing evidence-based strategies to improve community health.

  • Harrisville recently created a new Harrisville Community Action Committee to focus on improving community wellbeing and opportunities to live healthy lifestyles. Harrisville is proud to offer many walking and biking trails throughout the city, and is in process of adding even more. Harrisville has a community garden and this year, the city implemented ongoing trainings with first responders and city staff on mental health crises and suicide prevention.
