Healthy Utah Community

Get Healthy Utah is excited to partner with the Utah League of Cities and Towns to support Healthy Utah Community, a new designation program for cities and towns. This designation recognizes communities across Utah that do an exemplary job of implementing evidence-based strategies to improve community health.

Manti

  • Population: 3,610
  • Designation Year: Spring 2022
  • Manti aims to be a beautiful, clean, and friendly small town that values the health of its residents. Community engagement is important to Manti, and citizens recently worked together to refurbish weather-torn tennis courts into new pickleball courts. Citizens also worked hard to design and add new biking trails to West Mountain. In addition, the city recently completed a Sports Park, which serves as a valuable location for community gatherings. Manti hosts yearly community events which bring together citizens and contribute to unity and positive mental health.
